Main suggestion? Paint everything whie and remove all character. I resisted doing it, hated it – but it worked.

I understand the idea – I’ve already removed most of the character. Staging books say to paint it a neutral color – with white being the fallback. I already have a neutral brown in the living room, the office is going a neutral tan color – rest of the house is white.
Thanks for the help! Any other ideas?
